Rhode Island Red Bantams look exactly like their larger counterpart the Rhode Island Red. The difference is in their size. Bantams are much smaller than the standard Rhode Island Red. They are very sociable and friendly. 
Rooster's are flirtatious and quite brave despite their obvious smaller size. The male is very protective of his hens and will attack animal's and other birds that threaten his ladies. If isolated and do not have any hens around they become depressed but are easily trained.
Hens lay a light brown small egg that is approximately 1 inch in length and diameter. Sometimes they lay eggs that are slightly larger. Color of the eggs can vary depending on the type of feed you give them.
