Fennel is an herb from parsley (Umbelliferae) family is well known for it's anise, licorice like flavor, and it's unique health benefits symbolized by courage, longevity, courage, and strength but most important is it is commonly used as an antioxidant (kaempferol and quercetin), supplement for dietary fiber, minerals and vitamins by providing protection from cancer, infection, and neurological disease because it helps remove harmful free radicals from the body.
