This tiny little baby chick named Peepers has certainly bonded with owner Lauryn as you can clearly see the love between them, just like a mother and child. Peepers snuggles and watches over Lauryn, making sure she is asleep before snuggling into her arms but wait then Peepers comes back up to be cheek to cheek again. So cute, I had to watch it several times. This video is sure to make you smile and make you want to get a pet baby chick of your own (See video below).

Important warning: The Center for Disease Control (CDC) warns against snuggling and kissing backyard chickens due to the possible risk of contracting salmonella. They recommend washing your hands after handling chickens and things your chickens use, changing clothing, keeping chickens and their things clean and clean birds and the things they use or come in contact with outdoors, as well as, leaving any shoes worn in the coop or chicken run outside. People most at risk are children under the age of 5, adults 65 and over and people with compromised immune systems (2).
