The Partridge Cochin is a small, feather footed breed of chicken which will make an excellent for a pet backyard chicken or for show. The Partridge Cochin tends to be docile in nature, usually does not mind being gently handled, and from our experience this breed is very intelligent.
Partridge Cochin Male Coloring:
The males are very colorful and ornate, proudly displaying saddle and hackle fears which a beautiful bright orange-red, their body is usually greenish-black.
Partridge Cochin Female Coloring
The female Partridge Cochin Bantam has a mahogany, glossy looking brown feathers which appear to be pencil outlined in black.
