Benefits of Chicken Diapers
Chickens make great house pets but can get messy because they potty when they want to. Chicken diapers offers a viable solution to this problem. We have great deals on Chicken diapers. Chicken diapers can also help when you have a sick chicken that you are taking care of.
People who love and keep a chicken or two as house pets or often bring their favorite chicken indoors to hang out, train them or to watch them play are looking for ways to prevent them from pottying on their floors and furniture. There is a way to do so without the stress of potty training (which is virutally impossible to do with a chicken) or constantly cleaning up chicken feces. Chicken diaper's are a solution during indoor times and when taking your chicken out on the town in your car or in a chicken stroller (many pampered city chickens have these). Even the stars are getting into the act! Tori Spelling has a a pet chicken named Coco and her chicken wears diapers! Putting chicken diapers on your pet is just like putting diapers on your child-they must be changed often. Make sure you check the diaper regularly and remove feces, and/or change it so your chicken does not develop rashes or bacterial infections. My Pet Chicken Diaper Product Review by Chicken Heaven On Earth
We ordered a My Pet Chicken diaper and this is our review of this product:
The diaper arrived in five days, nicely packaged, adorable design with a bow across the shoulders and easy to understand instructions with pictures. The diaper was easy to put on but there was one problem. The Bow has a snap on one side, which has to be unfastened before putting the diaper on your chicken. Unfortunately, the thread on the bow came loose as soon as our chicken Baby Red moved but we were able to quickly stitch it back on with needle and thread. Baby Red got her foot stepped on by a donkey and the foot had to be amputated which means she has to stay in the house alot. As she has only one foot, we had some concerns as to whether the diaper would stay on correctly. We quickly found out that it stayed on perfectly. We used a paper towel for a liner but found out that a regular panty liner cut in half and placed inside the diaper overlapping it in the middle works just great as a diaper liner or you can purchase a chicken diaper liner (below). The straps are covered elastic which makes them adjust easily for a comfortable fit. There are several different colors available. The material feels like soft cotton and allows a comfy fit. Baby Red is a standard size Rhode Island Red hen. "The diaper fit perfectly, is adorably cute, and Baby Red loves it! I love it too because now she can sit on the couch and watch television with me..I will be buying more of these diapers and highly recommend them for people who have house pet chickens ".--Rev. Penny Dean (Owner of Chicken Heaven On Earth).
