Egg Storage Basics
Fertile eggs which need to wait to be hatched will need to be stored properly to increase the chances of a good hatch rate.
Use a fine sand paper to clean eggs rather than wiping with a damp cloth. If you have to wash the eggs the water temp must be 110 degree F. to keep the fertile egg from absorbing bacteria.
Which eggs should be discarded
Fertile eggs should be carefully selected making sure that they are not broken, cracked, soiled, or misshaped. Eggs which should be discarded are:
