Duck Care Tips

As a small homesteader learning to raise ducks has been a trial and error thing.  Here are a few things I have learned that make it very easy to raise a few ducks in your backyard and even with your chickens. If you are thinking of raising a few ducks these tips are priceless.

Ducks make a terrible mess in small pools and so far no filter has been designed that can really filter them good. However, this man has discovered a way to make emptying the kiddie pool for your ducks totally simple. It's easy to do and only costs a few dollars.
I have always advised people against raising ducks with chickens but I have finally discovered a way to do it and good reasons for keeping ducks with your chickens at night too! Plus watch my baby Pekin ducks swimming in a dish pan..too cute!
